Nickelback is a Canadian rock band formed in 1995 in Hanna, Alberta. The band consists of lead guitarist and vocalist Chad Kroeger, rhythm guitarist, keyboardist, and backing vocalist Ryan Peake, and bassist Mike Kroeger. The group underwent several drummer changes between 1995 and 2005 before Daniel Adair became the permanent drummer. From their sixth album, "Dark Horse" (2008), Nickelback released eight singles, including the U.S. top-10 song "Gotta Be Somebody." Their seventh album, "Here and Now" (2011), reached number one in Canada. Subsequent releases include "No Fixed Address" (2014), "Feed the Machine" (2017), and "Get Rollin'" (2022), their tenth studio album. Nickelback is one of the most commercially successful Canadian rock bands, having sold over 50 million albums worldwide. In 2009, Billboard ranked them as the most successful rock group and the seventh-most successful artist of the decade, with "How You Remind Me" being the best-selling rock song and the fourth-best-selling song overall. In 2023, Nickelback was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
