PETER FOX (birth name Pierre Baigorry) is a Berlin-based dancehall and hip-hop musician and one of the two frontmen of the German dancehall group Seeed. In 2008 he released his first solo album "Stadtaffe" and the three singles "Alles Neu", "Haus am See" and "Schwarz zu blau" to immediate commercial success. To this day the album remains one of the most successful in Germany. It was originally to be written in English with the intention being for Cee-Lo Green to sing on it, however he was unable to due to the success of his project 'Gnarls Barkley' so Fox decided to do it himself in his mother-tongue. A tour followed the release of the album which was accompanied by a live concert-film DVD. However, in 2010 Fox announced he would be returning to his band and would not release anymore music as a solo artist. In 2023 he released his second solo album titled 'Love Songs' which contained the singles 'Zukunft Pink', 'Vergessen wie', 'Weisse Fahnen' and 'Ein Auge blau.' Despite also reaching #1 in the German charts, it was not as commercially successful as his first album. He has also collaborated with other artists, such as Sido, k.i.z. and Miss Platnum.
