Sleeze Beez was a Dutch hard rock band formed in 1987 in Amsterdam. Guitarist Chriz Van Jaarsveld and drummer Jan Koster secured a record deal prior to assembling the complete lineup. The original lineup was completed with guitarist Don Van Spall, bassist Ed Jongsma, and vocalist Tiger. The group released its debut album, "Look Like Hell", in 1987 as a regional release. During the recording of the second album, "Screwed Blued & Tattooed", Tiger was replaced on lead vocals by Andrew Elt. Atlantic Records signed the band and released "Screwed Blued & Tattooed" in 1989. The album's single "Stranger Than Paradise" received airplay on MTV, and the band performed as an opening act for Skid Row. "Screwed Blued & Tattooed" reached number 115 on the Billboard 200 chart. Although the follow-up album, "Powertool", was completed by the end of 1990, management conflicts and disputes with Atlantic Records delayed its release until 1992. Following the commercial failure of the album, Atlantic dropped the group. Sleeze Beez subsequently released the studio album "Insanity Beach" and the live album "Live in Tokyo" in 1994 on an independent label before disbanding in 1996. Following the breakup, Elt joined the tribute act Action in DC. Sleeze Beez temporarily reunited in 2010, releasing the live album "Screwed: Live!" before disbanding again in 2011.
